Going out for New Years 2012?

Farewell Christmas 2011 and Welcome 2012! I spent the day yesterday taking down all of our decorations and cleaning and dusting. Sneezing all day because of the dust and glitter floating around. I did some changing around and I like how it turned out. I picked up a new cupboard yesterday for my guest bedroom and when I get it set up I will get some pics for you. I like it cause it is tall. I sold the small dresser that was in that room and wanted something taller and bigger.
This was my very first year blogging (and Christmas) and I have had so much fun looking and reading all of yours! So inspiring and such wonderful stories and the pictures have been amazing, but the best part is connecting and meeting new friends and I want to thank all of you!
Enjoy my following pictures.
This is Houdina.
I am watching her for our neice who is traveling this holiday with family.
She is so gentle and loves attention.
I think she is 5 years old.
Christine I would love to watch her anytime you need me!
We are not going out for New Years.
What are you doing.
Oh and before I forget I wish my friend Carmen at Primcats to get well soon and the best for 2012!
Love to everybody!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Recipe for you.
I finished my meal shopping today and wanted to share a recipe with you that tastes great with Ham. It is called Calico Beans and is very easy to make and the smells are wonderful ....and very tastey.
Plus I needed to sit down and take a break.

1/2 c. white sugar
1 t. dry mustard
1 t. salt
2 t. vinegar
1/2 T. garlic salt
1 can pork and beans, drained
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can lima beans, drained
Cook beef and bacon ( I cook together). Drain well. Mix all ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. ( I cook 60 minutes)
I doubled the recipe for Christmas and it is the first to go.

Love this prim Santa!
My friend Cindy gave me this cheese box on wheels a long time ago and I use it for so many things. I love the trees in it for now.
Table top in my dining room. A ptim tree is in the bucket and I still need to add filler in the bucket.

Little Tree very pretty at night with the small silicone lights.
This pantry cupboard sits to the left of my mustard cupboard in the corner.
Sorry about the glare.
Top of my mustard cupboard~simple~

TGIF

Cheryls Sheep
Happy Early Friday morning everyone in Blogland. Here we are in December and it is snowing outside and glistening in the moonlight.
Tomorrow I will finally get my tree up and decorated so I will share my holiday decos with you. It sure has been fun looking at all of your wonderful decorations and I have gotten some new ideas this year. Isn't it fun!!!!
Buy American was on the news this week. I'm in!!!! Are you?
If you spend only 64.00 it is suppose to help boost our economy and create jobs. I bought this magnifying mirror (10x) last night at Sallys Beauty supply and I can see so much better. You know what I mean. And made in USA. Wasn't 64.00 but I will make that up tomorrow.
