Memorial Day Weekend
I could not wait for this weekend. Saturday morning I was up early and spent 4 hours in my yard trying to get a head start for the weekend. I did finish cutting the grass and planted a few things.
We took off at one and headed to Berkley for lunch at Vinsettas Grille. Use to be a car repair shop for years. Very cool place. Food was great and plenty of it.
My sister would kill me if she knew I posted this picture.

Me and my sweet hubby.
I headed out early in the yard again this morning and did more planting and trimming bushes.
We had hamburgers on the grill with beans and salad with strawberry shortcake for dessert. Norms sister and brother in law came for dinner and we all sat out on the porch to eat. Love sitting out there to eat. We will probably eat breakfast out there in the morning. Pancakes, bacon, oj and coffee.
Love the 3 day weekends.
What are you doing this weekend?
I hope you are enjoying yours.

2012 Colorado
I have been looking for a truck like this, 2012 Chevy Colorado.
Nothing fancy...just my own for antiquing and plant shopping.
I checked at one dealership yesterday..not good vibes.
So today I went to a different one and they are looking for me.
I would like to have it for my trip to Carmens on the 18th.
I am trashing my Malibu and want it to last for a long time.
Can't fit furniture in a Malibu.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

Happy Hump Day
It will be sunshine and 80 degrees here today...Woohoo! I have to work all day but plan on planting some Hostas tonight when I get home. Last night I grilled brats for dinner the first time of the year. I enjoy the longer days so much...don't you?
Can't wait for these beauties to start growing. They are close to my house and get 9 feet tall.
I am going to Findley this weekend with my sister so I will have new pictures to share.
~~Have a wonderful day~~
