What a week it has been but everything is good. Tomorrow I want to get out early and start working in my yard. Tonight I stopped after work and bought potting soil, some Zinnia plants, Basil and Geraniums. Time to start with the sunscreen. Do you use sunscreen?
On Sunday my daughter Amy is coming over and we are mushroom hunting.

Our trip was so much fun. Sharon and I left Friday night at 6 and stopped in Greenville Ohio for the night. We were up at 6 the next morning and arrived to our destination at 11. We took are time and saw some great landscape. Indiana was ahead of us with blooming flowers and lots of leaves on the trees. Temps on Saturday was 82 and the sun was shining all day. We saw areas of heavy flooding during our roadtrip but it was better on they way back home.
We went to Vickys shop "This and That" which was prim wonderful and she let us walk around her yard which was great. Can you believe I didn't take a single picture! I was so caught up in the wonder of it all I never thought about my camera. Then we left to go to Painted Pony. Her shop was fantastic and she was so sweet and took us on a tour of her house...which was prim heaven. My kind of place! We also stopped at a couple of antique malls. And ate too much but I think we laughed it off...or walked it off!
If you ever get to Indiana the countryside is so beautiful and I want to go back.
Love to watch this renewal time of year. Corn will go in soon. This is the north side view of my house. Smells good too! I can hear those corn stalks blowing in the wind already!
Shelley sells these great sheet sets too. Tell her I sent you!
Has anyone ever been to her shop in Mitchell Indiana? I have and Shelley is awsome. Her open house is this weekend and me and my sister are going. We are leaving Friday night after work and spending the night at Holiday Inn Exprss. There are four other open houses within a few miles of each other and will check those out too. Check out her website Painted Pony Primitives, a picture trail too.
Indiana is such a beautiful state and I love to drive the countryside
