Painting is done!!

Gone from the green...new color is~ CINNAMON SUGAR~
Look at that blue sky and snow..perfect light for painting!
Cranked up the music from the 80's and off to paint.

I left the trim white...glad I did...it looks so fresh.
~Cinnamon Sugar~
Love the name of it!
Looks good with my terra cotta tile...glad...cause I was worried about that!

Sunshine reflection on the wall. It was beautiful outside today.
I need suggestions/new ideas for this wall. I had a black shelf/pegrack here before but ready for something different. I was thinking of putting a hanging buttery there. HELP! I love your suggestions.
This sure will feel good in my Jacuzzi...I am so sore I can hardly move. Up and down on my bench and all my bending from painting....you know what I mean!
Oh...ignore the curtains ..my sweet friend Lucille is making me new curtains as soon as I find the homespun fabric I want.
Hugs...stay warm and cozy...nighty nite!

TGIF

I need only 6 more followers and I will make it to 200 followers by my first year anniversary! HELP....and I will have a sweet little package . (for new followers)
Snow this weekend so I think it will be a good time to paint my bathroom. I have terra cotta colored tiles so what color do you suggest? Should I paint the beadboard around the tub the same color?
The walls are green now.
Have a wonderful weekend friends.

Happy Saturday Morning...some tweaking

See here heart dress....love it!

I want to thank all my friends that commented on my last post. I do have some wonderful followers and appreciate everyone of you.
Last night was a lazy night and want to show you some cute pictures of my kitty Emma. She does this every time my husband sits on the couch and stays there till he goes to bed. It seems like her ritual and is just to cute! If he gets up she is right back on. Last night she was snoring!
I have pictures too of some tweaking I did in my kitchen this morning. The sweet doll is a new purchase from Holly Hills Primitives. You have to check out her shop if you are ever in Holly Michigan.
And......it has finally snowed here...we have 4 inches so far.
How is your weekend?
Hugs to all of you!

Full Moon/Barn/Turkeys

What a view to see driving home tonight!
~ Moon was breathtaking~
Sorry the one below is blurry! My barn in the dark tonight.
Isn't it awsome!
Sunday morning I was relaxing and drinking my coffee when I heard something outside my window. ~Look~
Aren't they cool!
Walking in the pecking order eating corn and birdseed.
When the weather gets warmer and I am able to sit on my porch, and even sometimes before I leave for work, I can hear them squacking high in the trees.
They perch at night high in the trees.
All at once they start flying down and come into our yard.
Very cool to watch.

Mr. Hobbs Takes A Vacation Movie

I was working on the computer this morning and flipping through the channels and this movie was starting.
I remember the first time I watched it ( years ago) and loved it then and love watching it now even more. Life seemed so much simplier back then. A lot of the issues they had to deal with as a family are the same issues we still deal with today.
If you have never seen it you must someday.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a great week friends.

Eating and cooking with Sea Salt

See the snow?
Love this curtain!
Updated display behind my sofa
Good Evening blogging friends! I was wondering if you have ever used sea salt?
I am hooked on it! You don't have to use a lot and it makes everything taste so yummy! I bought the type you can grind....fine, medium and coarse.
I like the medium grind.
Well, honestly, I am on a diet and this helps cause it has been slim pickens! I put on 12 pounds between Thanksgiving and New Years so this helps with that craving.
I have been trying to walk outside but hate it when it is freezing outside.
What are you having for dinner tonight????
~Here are some more pics to look at~

Changes and my new cupboard

One of my favorite dolls that I have had for a long time.
Like the way the box covers my stove knobs
~Drysink~
Couldn't figure what out to do with this table so it went in my pantry and turned out cute. My grandkids table and chairs are packed away in the basement.
I took this small pie cupboard off my bay window seat and moved it to this corner with the crocks...I like it.
I hung the rack back up after the Christmas decorations came down. It's a great mustard color. I collect mashers too.
I picked these up on Saturday. Cindy and I went to Blissfield and Maumee Antique Malls and had a great time. Went to dinner at Friendlys which is next to the mall. Have you ever eaten there? I love the food ( and ice cream).
I left my prim snowmen out and thought they looked cute in my trencher.
Do you like?
Sorry this first shot is so dark but isn't the beadboard front great. I love the look of beadboard...in fact I am having my kitchen walls done this Spring.
The color fits in great in this bedroom.
So far I am happy with the way I decorated it.
Great storage too.

Back to work tomorrow : 0 (
I have really enjoyed my 2 weeks off.
We had terrible winds here yesterday and today but hardly any snow fell. The west side of the state got blasted with a foot of it and I hope it stays there!
Thanks for visiting and have a cozy evening!
