Even though we had some rain it did not dampen the spirits of anyone.

Is this a fun day or what!!!!!

I did not want it to end.

Dinner afterwards at Bittersweet Cafe was fun too and there was time to vist and chat with everyone.

   

Completed the day with the train passing by!

Labor Day Morning

 Hi everybody...not the greatest pictures of us but we had a great day. My husband actually took the day off so when we got up we headed for the lake that is down a long driveway behind our house.

 

 Don't I look beautiful first thing in the morning........NOT

 Good exercise!!

 The morning started out cloudy, but not for long.

Norm filled a thermos of hot coffee for us to drink out in the boat.

Clouds are breaking up so it turned out to be a beautiful day.

Love having a three day weekend ahead.

What are your plans?

I want to clean out my garden beds. If it is not too hot. We have been in the 80's and 90's, and very muggy.

Time to cut down some spent plants, it is looking pretty shabby.

Watching the Florida A & M football game on Sunday with my sister and bil. Their grandson ( my great nephew) is on the team and attends college there. His name is James Broaddus.

Today has been a beautiful Summer day!!

I was out and about running errands and made a stop at Treasure Mart in downtown ( Kerrytown) Ann Arbor. a must stop if you ever visit.

An old house with three levels full of resale/consignment.

I found one little treasure today for 15.00 and snapped it up. I think it is pretty old, not sure, but liked it and will add to my collection of pantry boxes.
