My foot surgery was successful...yay

Surgery on my right foot to remove a very annoying bunion and had spurs of bone removed from my big toe.
So glad I had it done but had the worst reaction to IV sedation which has never happened before. Nausea, vomiting, headache, poor hubby had to make 2 trips to pharmacy. One dose of meds took away of vomiting but felt like crap, I did sleep well but got up this morning with allergic reaction. My face and neck is beet red so now take benedryl....argh.
I did not have to take any pain meds, just Advil just in case and have had zero pain in my foot.
I go back Monday for a dressing change and no driving for 2 weeks.

Spunky staying by my side and keeping me warm.
He is such a loving cat.

Enough of my Friday saga.
Enjoy your weekend friend!

Beautiful sunrise this morning.

Love sitting here and watching the sun come up...so peaceful!

I have been having blog issues again too like many others.
I had to open up another window to post this picture.
I get comments but all of them not coming through and I have had zero new followers in a long time so don't think that is working either. As far as I can tell all my settings are fine.
I have had success with blogger help on issues before.
What to do?

My newest small tin funnel I found at the Mega Mall.
It has peanut adverstisement on it and could not resist.
Just one of the smalls and tin that I like to collect.

Talking about funnels....have any of you been watching this true story series?

It is on tuesday night and very fascinating but can be sit on the edge of your seat scarey.
Last night they showed  2 brave divers going down a pipe in the money pit with there diving gear that is only 27 inches!!!! Then it was a to be continues ending.
Have you watched it?
Tell me what you think.

I didn't make it to see the ball drop but Norm and I had a fun New Years day. I made a big breakfast and after cleaning up we took off for the day. We went to an estate sale in Lansing and Norm found his prized possesion ( his idea anyways) and I gave in. He deserves it  and it iactually doesn't look to bad really.

Not too bad is it?
After we left the estate sale we went to the Mega Mall in Lansing.
I found 4 more sweet small funnels and a grungy tin box to use as a planter in my garden this year.
Afterwards we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, our favorite place to get a steak, melts in your mouth so tender!
When we got home took down the rest of the decorations and all done until next Christmas.

Sunset in the romm for you to see.
Today was beautiful sunny weather!!!!
Finally :0)

Time to get busy with more housework before it gets to dark and can't find my dust bunnies!
Have a wonderful evening.

I know I have not been posting much lately but I will try to be better in the new year!!
I appreciate all the sweet comments this year and so thankful for all the friends I have made, near and far.
One of my wishes this year is that bloggers come back  and not be hooked on Facebook all the time.
Probably wishful thinking but you know who you are and we all miss you!

************Enjoy and be safe ************

A few Christmas pics 2015

Changed up from last year and I am showing only 2 right now because my pictures are still loading.
Love the tree and only new thing on it is glittery grapevine I found from JoAnn at The Old Granary. Looks so pretty at night, don't know how you like glittery but I love it on a tree.

Spent the day yesterday in Holly all day, the weather was perfect and had lunch with Dawn, Janet and Tammi at Bittersweet Cafe.
I also met a blog follower Carol Shlupp (sorry if I messed up your name Carol) but nice to meet you.

Argh I had a mouthful of food!!!
