WEEKEND

Saturday morning I was up early and picked up Nancy and we took off  for a huge estate sale very close to my house. Above is what I found on Saturday. Saw lots but prices were way too high.
Sunday prices dropped half and Sunday morning my husband went and picked these crusty wagon wheels for me!!

5 of us went back Sunday and I bought this stove to plant inside of it and going in my garden...happy!

Changed to this for something differant on my porch.
Like it?

This is an old buggy seat that belonged to Norms father and attached the old boards to base to stabilize and raise it.

Norm hung this hanging buttery I will load with grapevine and baskets.

We had a cook-out at my house on Sunday with sister and friends with hubbies and had a wonderful day!
Ham, stuffed cabbages, beans, amish potatoes, macaroni salad, cucumber salad and sweets galore!
We were the group that went back to the estate sale and while we were there they ran into a high school friend not seen in years and they came over after loading their truck from the sale. What a blast to sit back and listen to their school years!!
We do this once a year and I had it here this time. Very fun!!!!

I hope you all had a fun weekend.
Summer almost over :0(

Enjoy your day, I am off to clean up and drop off my car for it's recall repairs.

TGIF

It's 45 degrees this morning.....GEEZ! I hope my plants are okay.
I am not ready to give up on Summer yet, are you?
Starting to get the itch to decorate with Fall in the house but still will hold off till end of September.
Going very well at my daughters Antique Mercantile. We will soon have 2 booths that belong to SteamPunk Eddie! I watched that show Wednesday night and pretty interesting.
Eddie is in the middle on the bottom.

Very cool!

TGIF and have a wonderful weekend sweet friends!

Needlepoint Chair

Do you know the chair type and it's value?
Much appreciated if you could let me know.
Is there more value if the rear legs are shaped like the fronts?

I hope your Sunday has been a relaxing one.

Do you grow Morning Glory?

I don't know why I never plant more of these profuse sweet flowers. The tag showed  purple  and this is what grew this year.

I am happy how this area filled in too next to my
porch.

Gardening  had been great this year with all the heat, not as much rain but I use the sprinkler. We are suppose to have rain this afternoon and finally start to cool down some.

Time to get out and do some weeding.

Happy Hump Day

New addition to my decorating :0)

It is a newly made pie safe custom made by Dick at Holly Hills Primitives. Love love the old front doors with the screen.
Right now it is sitting in my dining room but plan on changing furniture around today and setting it somewhere else. I think the old tin on top really shows up now. It is suppose to rain today so good day to clean and move things around or go weed my garden.

Hmmm.....check out the orb!

~ Have a great week friends~

Planted this hydranga last fall

Soon it will be time to trim down and tweak spent plants :0(

Last night we had much need rain here and the cooler temps feel wonderful today. Sun is shining, the birds are singing and now I am heading outside to enjoy it and work in the yard.
