Baby Sandhill Cranes

Tonight I was out watering flowers and spotted the new family. Two cutest baby cranes between momma and daddy. Corn is planted in this field next to our house this year and is a tasty treat for them. Farmers grumble about it. Aren't they cute. Use your magnifier if you can't see them good enough. It is dry dry dry here. I hope it rains soon. Memorial weekend so have a safe and fun weekend friends. ~Earlene~

Nancy Nemecs Antiques pics to share. Ida Michigan

Yesterday morning me and my sis headed out early to Nancys wonderful show at her home. Enjoy the pics of her barn and gardens. They were beautiful and everything was neat as a pin. Lots of great buys and I will show you what I found. My goodies I think are together at the end of the pictures. Oh and on the way home we stopped at a roadside sale of trees and phlox. A steal at only 5.00 each. The fir tree will go in my front yard. The weather was cold but did not dampen anyones spirits. At least no wind was present like it is today. BRR! It is cold! ~Happy Mothers Day! ~Earlene~

Exciting!!! APP magazine has arrived. The Summer issue with my photoshoot I had last July. Kristine and Jeremy Doss did a great job.

Jerry watching me wondering what in the world am I taking pictures of? " Why not me" So I snapped one. Now I want to change some things around after looking at the pictures. Mostly in the dining room. ~Have a wonderful day today~ ~Hugs~ ~Earlene~

2012 Colorado

I have been looking for a truck like this, 2012 Chevy Colorado.
Nothing fancy...just my own for antiquing and plant shopping.
I checked at one dealership yesterday..not good vibes.
So today I went to a different one and they are looking for me.
I would like to have it for my trip to Carmens on the 18th.
I am trashing my Malibu and want it to last for a long time.
Can't fit furniture in a Malibu.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

Happy Hump Day

It will be sunshine and 80 degrees here today...Woohoo! I have to work all day but plan on planting some Hostas tonight when I get home. Last night I grilled brats for dinner  the first time of the year. I enjoy the longer days so much...don't you?

Can't wait for these beauties to start growing. They are close to my house and get 9 feet tall.
I am going to Findley this weekend with my sister so I will have new pictures to share.
~~Have a wonderful day~~

I was on my way to Quincy and spotted an Estate Sale sign. WOOHOO ...had to stop. The shoe stretchers, prim wisk broom, barrel on my porch and horsehair scrub brush came from there. 23.00 for all of it! We stopped at a garden center..itchin to plant...and loved this red geranium, which is still sitting in my house. Buddy had to put in his 2 cents worth and would not give up this chair on the porch. Guess who won! Anyway the cute little box with the candle in it, sitting on my coffee table, was adorable with great patina and decided I needed it. A cute piece to sit or hang. Tomorrow morning is my 2 week checkup since my spine injection and so far it has helped. We'll see how soon I have to have another one. I hope your enjoying your Spring. ~Earlene~
