Billy the cutie!!!!!

Billy the mini Greyhound....
Isn't he cute and is the sweetest dog that belongs to my friend Nancy.

~I hope he made you smile today~

Hope everyone is okay after all the high wind and storms.
We lost our power yesterday at 3 and got it back on today at 1.
We did have a generator last night so we did not get cold. Mother nature has been unkind lately has't she!

I will have some pics soon of Nancys prim home for you to see,
she loves to prim shop as much as I do. Everyday if we had the time and money so you know that won't happen.

How do you like my new trim color?

Friday afternoon since it was sunny I decided to paint my white trim in the bathroom and went darker and I love the way it turned out. Warmed the room much more and shows off the tiles.
I will finish the other window this afternoon.
What do you think?

This is the white to see the comparison.

Enjoy your Sunday

Happy Friday

This is one of the pleasures of living in the country.
I have been outside for a couple of hours since the weather is beautiful today. Yes we have snow but there is no wind, blue skies and sunshine, the birds are singing and comfortable temps. Trimmed some more bushes, started a little fire  and ate my soup for lunch outside.
LOOK what showed up!

 Fun wasn't it!

My winter garden...I leave everything for the birds.

Time to head back out and cut some greens and put out some lights.
It is suppose to rain this weekend.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Guess who loves to play in the water?

He beats me in there every morning waiting and waiting....
I have to kick him out and shut the door.
He would stay in there for hours if I let him. You should see him in the bathtub! He carries his toys in the tub and leaves them there.
Silly boy!  He is a sweet joy.
~Happy Thursday~

More pics of Sues to see on this cold snowy Wednesday....enjoy

Wednesday already!

Thanksgiving in a week. We will be going to my daughters Amy
this year. Only a 6 mile drive so snow won't be a worry.
She is cooking the turkey, I am making my sweet potato souffle and stuffing....and I think I will make early Christmas cookies to take. I want to bake more this year since I am not working.

Stay warm...let it snow...let it snow...let it snow

I know you all love pics of Sues primitive home...I have some! THANK YOU SUE

Yesterday 5 of us piled into my pickup and we took off to Black Sheep Farms holiday open house. We all met at her house and took off from there on our one and half hour trip north. I took some great pictures of her home. She recently moved and you wouldn't believe
how much they have accomplished in a short time.

We had a great day!!!!! We also went to Saltbox Farm on the Main and had lunch and shopped some more. Left heading home and stopped at Keeper of the Crows and the Mega Antique Mall.
What a day...ready to go again today (kidding).
Enjoy her lovely prim home and I will have more to show you soon and also what I bought for home.
Have a blessed Sunday friends.

This is the earliest I have ever started decorating for Christmas...just a start, lots more to do.

My bay window, I want to decorate my family room this year with all snowmen.

Needs a sled instead...need to find it somewhere in the basement.

Arnett Santa

Old Mother Hubbard Santa
( I miss her shows, does not live near me anymore ...she moved and I hope she has more soon in her area)

Love the face and beard.

That's all I have done so far.

Tomorrow I am headed out early with friends to go to Black Sheep Farms. Jo is having her holiday open house.
TGIF and have a wonderful weekend sweet blogging friends.
