Garden spot in the works

Hope all of you have enjoyed your weekend. The weather has been perfect and the moonrise coming out right now is breathtaking to say the least!! I wanted to get a picture but batteries are dead and I am dead tired and too lazy to go get some at the Dollar Store.
I wanted to show you our work in progess garden spot next to our barn. I think it will look nice once the plants start to grow more. I planted Tyme, Hollyhocks and Hens and Chicks. the table is a steel make do my husband made long time ago and was sitting in a junk pile.
Norm made the wood door out of boards cut from Ash trees on our property.

This spot was full of tall weeds, cement blocks, steel posts and few other pieces of junk. He cleared it all out and one day! I'm not kidding it was a mess!

What have you been working on in your yard?
It's a labor of love! To me anyways, never feels like work.

Have a great week ahead friends!

Simple Goods Pics and more!

What a blast of a weekend! The 3 of us left Friday morning for Ohio, destination Simple Goods Primitive Show. I have to say to me it has been the best one yet.
I was so excited to finally meet my friend Francine ( Primitive Stars) after blogging together all these years. Met her sister in law and brother too. What a sweetheart!!!!! I so wished she lived near, we could have a blast together.

Big surprise to run into this sweet lady and her daughter.
Yup.....Angie and Princess!!! been 2 years since I've seen her.

Friday on the way down we hit several places found in the Primitive Traveler Magazine, one being my favorite seville Antique Mall.

Tax Day ( we are all taxed to death) so new happy pics for you

At least it is a beautiful sunny morning here. Yesterday I was out all day. I used sunscreen but still got burned, seems the older I get that happens now no matter what I use. Here are a few pics outside for you.

Violas I picked up last night at Meijers.
This plant can handle the cold nights we are still getting.
I needed some pop of color.

Coral Bells for the soon to arrive hummingbirds.
Hate maintaining hummingbird feeders.

Signs of Spring

Pansies too!

Got this new stone bunny at Lowes.

This prim trough will be home to ALL sunflowers and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Got this at a yard sale late last year.
Pinterest shows these with sunflowers and love the look, just can't plant until June.

 Have a seat!
 Morning sun on the porch.
Old boxes from the barn, going to my booth.

~Have a wonderful day~
