Sunflowers

I have always wanted to plant this with sunflowers so this year I finally did. It was sitting near my garden shed because it was sunlight all day in this area but had to move it near my house.
The deer decided it was a tasty treat so Norm loaded it on the tractor and closer to my porch where deer dare to stray. So far so good.

I can't wait to see how they look in a few weeks.

Weather here has been hot, humid and rainy but dry this morning for awhile so heading out early to cut the grass.

Yesterday we spent the day getting my booth ready and looking
really cute. I will share pics when it's finished.

Wow I can't believe I am approaching 600 posts!!!

Around our yard today :0)

All our flowers have not started blooming yet but when it does I will take more pictures. It is very windy, hot and muggy here and it is just the way I like it!
First I want to show you what Norm brought home from an estate sale on Saturday. Very cool and when we have time it will be situated in right spot and flowers are going in. (well maybe)

The flowers in the background will be all yellows and purples.

New area of plants.

My hypertopha heart I made last week with some more new plantings.
No more grass! I have been painstakingly removing it a little at a time....argh!!!

 Zinnias in pee pot
Along and at the side of our driveway not in bloom yet.

I will post more pictures another time.

More rain!!!!!! Plus dropping temps is what we have on the way.

Working in my yard everyday and loving it.

Spunky follows me and always wants to play.

See this big leafed plant in the front? Soon it will be so big you won't see any parts of the rest of the garden from this side.
Cup plant. Stunningly huge but invasive so needs lots of room and sunlight.

I am leaving for Florida with my friend Cindy on Tuesday through Saturday and leaving my computer behind.
I have been really bad lately on blogging but I am outside ALL the time and just not into it.
I will post more pictures of my garden in a few weeks, if it ever stops raining for a couple of days, and show you what I worked on today for my gardens.
Have a wonderful weekend!
