AHHHH...todays weather was perfect, 76 degrees, sunshine and then these showed up. Some good news too.

Never tire of watching them.
Look at that sun and blue sky!!!!!
( Good thing I got my cat in)

This little girl in the cab is so cute, she doesn't know how lucky she is. What a thrill for a kid. I am thrilled to watch and I am 62 years old :0)

I spent the day enjoying the beautiful weather.
The picture below was my trumpet vine growing over a birdhouse.
When is Norm going to rake???? Just kidding.
I will as soon as the leaves are off the trees.
 Rusty crusty treasure.
Here is the good news.
Our yard was picked to be in the LACASA GARDEN TOUR  July 2016!!!!! As far as I know 12 were picked for the tour.
I CAN"T WAIT

It was also my mothers ( today) and my
fathers the 23rd.
I feel special I have mine with them. (26th. I will be 63!)

Yesterday was a great time and thank you Nancy for your hospitality. Lunch was wonderful, you always put your heart into it.
I did not take any pictures :0( Having too much fun.
When we left we took off to Lake Odessa Antique Mall for the rest of the afternoon. I found a cream strainer and small covered chicken feeder tp put in my garden next season.
This week is suppose to be so warm I think I will try and get more gardening done if I can get these stupid kinks out of my back...grrr.

Enjoy your Sunday!
Blessings

Beautiful Sunday weather today!!

This morning I got up and made my big Sunday breakfast
for hubby and we both spent the rest of the day outside.
We cleaned up around the barn and I weeded this small garden area by the barn. These self seeding pink petunias are still blooming! The frost has not affected them yet and we have had several hard frosts but I think because it is the south side of the barn it is warm and gets a lot of sun.  The Tyme and Sage is still going strong too.
Aren't they pretty!
I stored my flower pots for the winter in the shed and cleaned out some more flower beds.
Norm spent the day cleaning around the barn and getting the scrap steel together for pick up this week.
Now the sun is setting and came in to make supper....spagetti....one of our favs.
Time for Advil and pajamas.

Have a great week!!!!!!

PS.....Planning on going to Gathered Treasures, Simple Goods and Seville on Saturday  the 7th.with some friends.
Are any of you planning on going?
Can't wait!!!!!

I followed your suggestion on a hooked rug and here it is.
I love the look and the rug, what do you think?

The colors did not show up, too muted, but it is really a great color combination.

I also wanted to tell you The Antique Mercantile will be adding vendors ready to sell on the second floor November 1st, !
 Check out Jennifers Facebook.
Hope you can make it.

3 cupboards went out and 1 new one came in today.

A Williamston Antique Mall find.
Love it!

The inside of it is an ugly red color but planning on using it for storage anyway.

Not sure what to hang above it.
What would you do?

Beautiful cool sunny morning on this last day of September~

All decorated for this Fall and love love love the sun shining in this morning!
The hanging corn I could not pass up this weekend.
My favorite decorations are the grungy primitive look, especially the dolls.

The grain measure with the handle came from The Old Granary Gathering on the Lawn ( Quincy Michigan) sale this weekend.

 Prim dolls!!!
She is peeking off the top of this cupboard.

2 butter churns from the left I found at Antique Mercantile, 55.00 a piece which is a steal!
 Dining table
Sweet new (old) shelf from Old Granary.
Hangs on my tv cabinet door.

I want to tell all of you how much I have enjoyed your Fall pictures. Never get tired of looking at them, I think it is everyones favorite time of year.

~~~Hugs~~~
