Changed my background

What do you think of the new background color. I just don't want it to wash out my pictures but wanted a lighter look for Spring.

Not much else to comment about tonight..just a lazy evening.

First Sunday of February

You can tell it was a bright sunny day.

Getting ready to set out my Spring goodies.

It is a beautiful sunrise this morning here in our neck of the woods.

Making bacon and eggs for breakfast and then heading outside for a long walk.

Love the sunshine we have been having here...make Winter so much more tolerable.

At noon I am heading over to Holly Hills Primitives for her Superbowl Party.

She has new things in from market so I can't wait to check it out. I will try to get pictures if she lets me, otherwise check out her blog. She is lisyed on mine if you can't find her.

I wanted to share some pictures I took yesterday.

Good Bye January!

Fresh clean bedding dried outside

Since this my first January post I will admit January is my least favorite month.

Welcome February 1st.!!!!

The days are starting to get longer which rally helps with my mood.

Thanks to all of you that sent birthday wishes to my granson. I would forwar them to my daughter and she appreciates that you were all so thoghtful.

Birthday Breakfast

This is me and my grandson Nathan this morning. We all met for breakfast for his 11th birthday ( which is tomorrow). He picked it cause it is one of his favorites and it is close to where we live.

Great breakfast and enjoyed ourselves.

Hello Saturday

I love this little guy holding his heart.
I wanted to tell you about my scare on Thursday night while I was blogging so if it happens to you...don't panic. I was cancelled in the middle of a sentence!
It wasn't blooger but Google that did it. I think it was a good thing though because the reason reported was "suspicious activity".
Didn't sleep that night...thought my blog was deleted forever!
Next morning I checked again and figured out and found the window from google...had to enter my e-mail. pick country I was from and give my landline phone number ( I don't own a cell phone) . Hit verify number and I got a automated message on my phone with a verification number...I typed that in and within seconds my blog was back!

Bathroom Hanging Buttery

Now I know people say this is just a shelf...I call it a hanging buttery. That's what us prim addicts call it:0) Right!

I love it but I need to find a different wreath..a bigger one...but it will do for now.

Painting is done!!

Gone from the green...new color is~ CINNAMON SUGAR~

Look at that blue sky and snow..perfect light for painting!

Cranked up the music from the 80's and off to paint.

I left the trim white...glad I did...it looks so fresh.

Sunshine reflection on the wall. It was beautiful outside today.

I need suggestions/new ideas for this wall. I had a black shelf/pegrack here before but ready for something different. I was thinking of putting a hanging buttery there. HELP! I love your suggestions.

This sure will feel good in my Jacuzzi...I am so sore I can hardly move. Up and down on my bench and all my bending from painting....you know what I mean!

Oh...ignore the curtains ..my sweet friend Lucille is making me new curtains as soon as I find the homespun fabric I want.

Snow this weekend so I think it will be a good time to paint my bathroom. I have terra cotta colored tiles so what color do you suggest? Should I paint the beadboard around the tub the same color?

The walls are green now.
