Sleeping In on Saturday Morning

Oh if you only knew how much I love sleeping in on Saturday mornings! This morning it was cold a cloudy....no beautiful sunrise today but that's okay because I was gone by 8:30 to the Breckenridge Antique Show. We got there around 10:30 and no waiting in line. We ran into friends, shopped till we dropped and had there yummy lunch. Here are some pictures of what I bought.
The breadboard was only 23.00! Isn't it cool! The spoon and fork have a great patina. The wax bunny smells spicy cinnamon. The little stuffed bunny was from today too. Oh and the glass covered jar of nutmeg.
I wanted one of these for a long time and these are perfect prim shutters. I set them behind my black chair for now and hung a prim bonnet on the end. Looks really cozy. A nice prop...has many uses.
A prim towel on a wire. Thats it! Love the thrill of the hunt. My sister found some great goodies too but I didn't get any pictures. Next time I go to her house I will get some to show you. She found the greatest old cobblers bench...you have to see it. Have a wonderful comfortable relaxing evening! ~Earlene~

Hump Day already!

Saturday is going to be a blast! Now that my sister is back from Florida we have alot planned. Saturday we are off the the Breckenridge Spring Antique Show and Sale that starts at 10:00. She is meetong me here at 8 and off we go. I also want to stop at 2 estate sales on the way back. I don't know what I am looking for this trip but always have fun. Some blogging followers are going so I hope I get to meet them. I hope they recognize me since I took my picture off. I look terrible in my pictures. Okay a few more pictures from last Saturday and that's it.
Wedding cake...three layers..three flavors! Very yummy!
This was a surprise to them from me. I work with a talented lady in our clinic that made these great cookies. She has all kinds of cutters..knew I wanted hearts and I picked the pattern from a book and she did not disapoint me. Aren't they cute? Individually wrapped and fresh. My grandson passed them around at the center of all the tables.
My grandson was the first in line...no surprise there! Menu was pulled pork, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw and fresh fruit salad. Everything was very very good!
At the Alter with their daughters standing uo for them....still makes me cry. God Bless all of you with your sweet comments. I agree in this day and age it is wonderful to see. Hope your all having a wonderful healthy week so far. Think Spring!!! ~Earlene~

Happy St. Patricks Day

This is the gold at the end of my rainbow.

Do I have to pose????

This is our big boy Buddy soaking up the rays of sunshine with me this morning on the porch waiting patiently for me to finish my coffee. He greets us every morning. I love it when he follows me around the yard when I'm gardening.

Last night he almost got nailed with the rake...thought I was playing with him.

He also is the cat that jumps out from the bushes when I am walking into the house after work. Wants to play and be hugged Now that it is still light when I get home I can see him.

Hope all of you have enjoyed your day as much as I have. We were able to go riding on our Goldwing for a couple of hours today and enjoyed the wonderful weather!

Don't know why my align center isn't working....dang computers..oh well.

Mole Problem?

I know how you can get rid of them!!! Is this cute little butt too funny or what!
My grand dog Reese was having a field day yesterday. She was not giving up on catching that little varment!

We had a beautiful warm sunny day here yesterday and I spent the whole day outside getting a lot of yard work done. I was even able to hang laundry on the line.

We had my daughter and granddaughters over for dinner. I ate too much and paying for it today..weight wise. I am on WW now and want to lose 15 pounds.
I need some motivation!

Have a great week friends! ~Earlene~

Collection of old strainers/sifters Love the patina of these.

Isn't this the sweetest little prim wire basket. Look close and you can see the little bunny in the middle.

Today we had beautiful glorious warm weather and had Spring fever for sure.
On my drive home I had my window down.
I was hoping to here the Spring Peepers ( frogs) in the low land but not awake yet. Maybe tomorrow since it is getting warmer.
Love the smell of the air this time of year.

Some touches of Spring

Started the Mustard Cupboard..need to add my grass when I find some.

How did bunny get in there?
These 3 cute mini nests were given to me a couple of weeks ago by the sweet shopkeeper from Primitive Blessings in Orion Ohio.
I have had the mini eggs for a long time and they fit in perfectly.
Are you ready for Springtime?
I will have more to share later.
I think daylights savings time starts next weekend?
Be back soon.
