Today was a productive and fun Saturday. I slept in until 9 this morning and it felt wonderful. My daughter Jennifer called me soon after I got up to come see her garage painted. So off I went, stopped at Macdonalds for sausage, egg and cheese first. She was up at the crack of Dawn painting...wish I had that energy. I did manage to get my lawn cut , did some watering and trimmed some bushes. Things are looking pretty good. Anyway, I took some pictures of her yard to share with you..she is very good at putting things together. Isn,t it cute? She lives in a Sears home. Her house behind the fence ( her driveway) After yard work Norm and I took of on the bike and got some riding in. Perfect end of the day. Time to call it a day. ~~Earlene~~

SAD NEWS

Sad news today about my friend Debbie. You know her from Primitive/Colonial Pride Blog. Yesterday she lost her battle with cancer. Please pray for her and her family. She was a wonderful,talented,loving,dedicated, hard-working woman. I will miss her. Love you Debbie and we will meet again some day.

I am dog sitting this week. On the way home from work and picked up a new toy for my grand dog Reese. SHE HAD IT APART IN 5 MINUTES!!! No more soft toys for her. And I got her BIG bones to chew on. Gone in 20 minutes. She is a very sweet dog and that makes up for it. Happy Hump Day ~~Earlene~~

Have you ever been to a Wedding like this?

Happy Sunday to you all today. Norm and I attended a Wedding yesterday that was amazing. I have never been to a wedding that was themed in this way and we enjoyrd it very much. It was outside in the middle of an orchard and the reception was in the barn. Check it out. It was beautiful outside....but HOT! Watering cans with babysbreath! I love it! Hump Day Already! Sneak Peak

Enjoy Your Day Sneak peak of my boards on my kitchen. I went with barnsiding instead of beadboard. Love how it turned out...I really wanted to paint but my husband wanted stain. I can paint later. I have been on VACATION

Same cottage we stayed at last September. Enjoyed it much more with the hot weather we had. We left Wednesday on the motorcycle at 1:00 with beautiful weather here but glad I took my winter coat because by the time we got to Oscoda we were freezing! Don't worry...it didn't last long. We had beautiful weather the rest of the time. My SIL and I were able to go swimming in Lake Huron. One night we had bad storms but were gone by the time we were out and about. Making S'Mores around the campfire our first night. The beach...beautiful and private....on Lake Huron. My sister Sharon and her husband Jim. Pancakes and sausage anyone? We had a great time cooking and eating together at the cabin. We went bicycle riding and played lots of cards. Garage saling on Saturday while the guys went to a Motorcycle Rally/Show. My youngest brother Warren making sure the fire is going strong. God Bye for now. I have to get laundry done before heading back to work tomoorow and catch up on some other chores. Sunday Morning

It is so beautiful this morning! I decided to hang laundry since didn't get the chance to yesterday. It won't take long to dry today. I feel so lucky I have such a great view to look at while I am out there working. Open fields and

blue sky...Ahh! I wanted to show you how my garden grows too. I am so excited...looks like it is taking off pretty good.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday

My Friday started out with Norm and I having annual eye exams..new glasses in the works for both of us. Then off to look for beadboard for my kitchen and still not liking it. Back to that later. Never did get my chance to rearrange things but I still have time this weekend. We hopped on the bike and headed to Shipshewana for the night. We stayed in my favorite campground that has the sweetest little cabins. here is what it looked like.

The bed wasn't the cofiest in this one but I can catch up tonight....right! Oh and keep in mind when we left yesterday it was 86 degrees so I didn't pack a sweatshirt. We got up this morning and had a breakfast bufet that was yummo and walked around Shipshewana. Here is Norm packing away the cover to our bike.

Isn't he so cute! We walked aoround town for a few hours. You wouldn't believe the things I can fit in this bike. Couldn't leave without piking up a few things. Americana doll, new runner, square table top cover and new bonnet.

Remember when I said how hot it was yesterday? Well only 68 degrees on the way home and on a bike that is too cold for me. At least we didn't get caught in the rain. I had to stop and buy a sweatshirt. Off on the bike again tomorrow morning to meet Carmen (PRIMCATS) and Shane Erb at Cabelas!!!! I can't wait! We are heading back to our house for a short and sweet visit cause they have to leave by 3 to continue their trip. 95 degrees tomorrow! See you tomorrow guys! Todays goodies (some of them)

The days weather was sunny,beautiful and HOT! Just how I like it! Perfect day for a sale...and it was a great sale. Jane and Cheryl know how to put it all together and have fun. Now I know that you want to see my Settee....but you will have to wait cause it needed some tweaking 0:( I know, I was disappointed too but Dick wants to make it right so I have to wait. I promise I will show you when I have it set up. Lucille I didn't get to say good bye before you left, sorry, hope you had a fun day. Here are a few things I picked up today and also silly poses of my cat tonight "Buddy" who loves sleeping on the roof of my car. Oh, and no pictures of the show today, my camera died and my husband looked at it tonight and the new batteries I bought were expired!
