Garden update

The first three pics are lucky sit by the garbage items by my house on Friday. It's all I could fit in my trunk. This was right down the road from me and by the time I drove home to get the truck and go back it was ALL gone. Great prim stuff too...dang it! I mean it was 5 minutes time....really!

 Cute homemade footstool and I have been looking for one to use as a plant stand in my yard.

What so you think it was used for? 

 My gardens are growing great but nothing is blooming yet.

Sunday ride on the Honda

We took off early and went to Hickory Hills which a museum of old cars, bikes, toys....

the weather was perfect.

We have had this bike now for 10 years. Great riding bike and we have traveled lots of places on it. It was my husbands 50th birthday present to himself and now tomorrow June 3rd. is his big 60!!!!!

In July we are taking off on another trip.

We ended up breaking down and buying new helmets this year along with audio so we can talk to each other without yelling and it's going to be a long trip.

And yes we can fit everything we need in this bike.

Who else likes to travel on a bike?

ALSO

prayers to Carmen and Shane Erb ( PRIMCATS). Shane hit a deer on his bike ( or should I say the deer hit him) and was hurt pretty bad but will be okay in time. Carmen was driving a truck behind him when it happened and saw everything . Love you two and hope your recovery is on the way.

Spending today catching up on housework since I did not do much last weekend because we were gone alot and busy for the holiday.

My sisters 72 birthday is June 1st. so getting stuff done today so we can spend the day tomorrow hanging out and having fun.

My husbands big 60 is on June 3rd. Hmmm what's in store for him?

Saturday morning walkabout in my yard....the weather has been fantastic here!!!!

Our lilac bush this year is profuse with blossoms. It is the prettiest I have ever seen it bloom.

The same with the bleeding hearts, they spread like crazy this year.

These are sugar snap peas climbing up a trellis.

See what I did?

See the trellis here...well these are left over sunflower stalks from last year, still very thick and sturdy so I wrapped twine up it and using it for my peas. 

These are the seeds and they were awsome and huge. I got them at the Garden Mill in Chelsea and planted some more today. Out of all the seeds I planted last year  these were the only two that survived.

This has 2 tomato plants, one green pepper, one pickling cucumuber and arugala. My veggie garden for this year. And some flowers.

Time to get off the couch and get outside.

Four day weekend coming up for me this Memorial Day

weekend. I can't wait to do more work in my yard and cooking out on the grill.

What's new here?

Well my granddaughter Rachel will be 13 tomorrow. She is coming over tonight to celebrate and we are having pizza and I am making a yummy salad.  She is growing too fast.
The reason for tonight is because tomorrow I will be busy. I am picking my friend Cindy up at 4 and we are going to dinner and then off to Joe Louis Arena to see a concert.

"Lady Gaga" I have been waiting to go for a long time and it's finally here!

Tried to cut my lawn this afternoon. What a mess. I couldn't finish because of the flooding. It would be great if you wanted to go mud bogging.

Here is a pick of my new couch in the room...sorry a little late, just too much going on lately.

 Moved this dry sink in my kitchen.

Moved this dough box in my pantry.
