Changes and my new cupboard

One of my favorite dolls that I have had for a long time.
Like the way the box covers my stove knobs
~Drysink~
Couldn't figure what out to do with this table so it went in my pantry and turned out cute. My grandkids table and chairs are packed away in the basement.
I took this small pie cupboard off my bay window seat and moved it to this corner with the crocks...I like it.
I hung the rack back up after the Christmas decorations came down. It's a great mustard color. I collect mashers too.
I picked these up on Saturday. Cindy and I went to Blissfield and Maumee Antique Malls and had a great time. Went to dinner at Friendlys which is next to the mall. Have you ever eaten there? I love the food ( and ice cream).
I left my prim snowmen out and thought they looked cute in my trencher.
Do you like?
Sorry this first shot is so dark but isn't the beadboard front great. I love the look of beadboard...in fact I am having my kitchen walls done this Spring.
The color fits in great in this bedroom.
So far I am happy with the way I decorated it.
Great storage too.

Back to work tomorrow : 0 (
I have really enjoyed my 2 weeks off.
We had terrible winds here yesterday and today but hardly any snow fell. The west side of the state got blasted with a foot of it and I hope it stays there!
Thanks for visiting and have a cozy evening!

Going out for New Years 2012?

Farewell Christmas 2011 and Welcome 2012! I spent the day yesterday taking down all of our decorations and cleaning and dusting. Sneezing all day because of the dust and glitter floating around. I did some changing around and I like how it turned out. I picked up a new cupboard yesterday for my guest bedroom and when I get it set up I will get some pics for you. I like it cause it is tall. I sold the small dresser that was in that room and wanted something taller and bigger.
This was my very first year blogging (and Christmas) and I have had so much fun looking and reading all of yours! So inspiring and such wonderful stories and the pictures have been amazing, but the best part is connecting and meeting new friends and I want to thank all of you!
Enjoy my following pictures.
This is Houdina.
I am watching her for our neice who is traveling this holiday with family.
She is so gentle and loves attention.
I think she is 5 years old.
Christine I would love to watch her anytime you need me!
We are not going out for New Years.
What are you doing.
Oh and before I forget I wish my friend Carmen at Primcats to get well soon and the best for 2012!
Love to everybody!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Buddy wants to play..I don't think so!

Recipe for you.
I finished my meal shopping today and wanted to share a recipe with you that tastes great with Ham. It is called Calico Beans and is very easy to make and the smells are wonderful ....and very tastey.
Plus I needed to sit down and take a break.

1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can lima beans, drained
Cook beef and bacon ( I cook together). Drain well. Mix all ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. ( I cook 60 minutes)

Christmas Pics at my house / Merry Christmas

~My Christmas Tree~
Love this prim Santa!
My friend Cindy gave me this cheese box on wheels a long time ago and I use it for so many things. I love the trees in it for now.
Table top in my dining room. A ptim tree is in the bucket and I still need to add filler in the bucket.

Little Tree very pretty at night with the small silicone lights.
This pantry cupboard sits to the left of my mustard cupboard in the corner.
Sorry about the glare.
Top of my mustard cupboard~simple~
Brown Crocks decked out for Christmas in my mustard cupboard.
I will show you some more later in the week.
Time to start Sunday supper.
Spagetti with salad and garlic bread.
What are you having for supper tonight?
Enjoy!
