Stars and the moon are out tonight. Hope you enjoyed this gorgous day. It was 78 here today and at this hour it is still 70. Very strange for this time of year in Michigan. ~earlene~

Seville Ohio...Medina and Wooster

I have been absent since Friday night. Norm met me after work and off we went for a get away weekend.I have been wanting to go to the Seville Antique Mall again..went about 4 years ago and loved it! I have pictures to show you what I purchased. I was hoping to find some new Fall and Christmas...no such luck but that's okay. We stayed at the Comfort Inn and FYI when you reserve a room and mention Seville Antique Mall your room will only be 55.00! Go to there website and scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see it. We stayed Saturday night too. I love driving at night this time of year because we saw the most awsome Halloween light displays! And darn I forgot my camera!!!! This first treasure is the coolest gourd..looks like a swan doesn't it!
I found it in Seville and this next is my favorite..had to have it. This womans booth was making me spastic...I could have bought everything she had!
It is a breadboard rack with the boards sitting on a cutting board.
This is the cutest little mustard cupboard I found at Brothers Antique Store in Wooster. The inside is very cute and i want to put it in my bay window and decorate it for Christmas.
I have a thing for tin cups and love to collect them...you can do so many decorating themes with them. I also founf a tiny funnel and collect them too.
This is too dark but it is a prim mustard apron I had to have to hang in my kitchen. Driving home today from our weekend was beautiful. The sun was out and 60 degrees. The colors on the trees popped. We drove country roads all the way home. We had enough time to get the lawn cut when we got home. Had to...with all the rain we've had it was getting pretty shabby. Gotta go....catching up with laundry now. Hope you had a great weekend! ~~Earlene!!

Did you get downpour of rain this weekend?

Rain and wind all weekend but it was warm yesterday. Turkeys in my yard last night on the drive home.
Picked these gourds off my sisters vine. What should I do to them?
HAPPY MONDAY

TGIF

Evening blog friends...how was your week? Went fast for me and excited all today because Ghoultide Gathering started tonight in Chelsea Michigan. It was on my way home from work and how cool is that! I saw the coolest costumes people showed up in for this show. It was a small one ...only 30 vendors but fun just the same. I was so happy that I got to meet Lori Brechlin from Notforgotten Farm. I bought an adorable pinkeep in her booth. She is so sweet! I hope she enjoys Chelsea..she came a long way. Sorry no pics of the show...it was not allowed...bummer. But I understand. I did take a picture of my purchase.
Bags they were passing out.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
And.....I couldn't leave without buying some of this awsome Kettle Corn. Michigan made and I had half the bag eaten before I got home. I Love popcorn...I eat too much of it. My favorite snack of all time.
Well have a wonderful weekend. I have my granddaughters tomorrow so I know I will have fun. ~~Earlene~~

Meet my new friend ' Lil Jerry '

Isn't he adorable. My husband had a customer who knew we loved cats and saw how sweet our cats are so he decided this fella could be at home here. They could not keep him any longer. The first night he was very scared but the second night he decided to join us upstairs. That night he decided to jump on the bed with me and stayed on it the rest of the night. He is warming up. For some reason he likes to stay in the basement. He shows up around 8 and then wants attention. My other cat is having a hissy fit. Oh, about the name? That is the name that was given to him so we are keeping it. He is 2 1/2 years old, front declawed and neutered. Oh one more thing not having to do with cat's. Did anyone watch the season premiere of The Middle this week? I laughed until I cried. It was HILARIOS!!!!! Let me know if you did. TGIF blog friends and enjoy your weekend. ~~Earlene!!

This weekend

I decided not to show many wedding pictures for privacy but I have to say it was a great time and very sweet.
We had a chance early Saturday before the wedding to do a little sight seeing. Managed to go to Ripleys Believe It Or Not. If you ever get a chance you have to go. Next time your husband complains about wallpapering show him this. I thought it was hilatious.
If you can enlarge the small sign read it. This guys carrer was hanging wallpaper and he only has one arm! I am not kidding. Next you think you have trouble figuring out what to wear look at this!
You want to see what big and tall means?
And these are my feet standing in his foot prints! He was the worls tallest man. 8 feet 11 inches tall!
Paintings underneath a dead bat...Happy Halloween!
And a very cool building... and... I want to know does anyone know why glass balls are on the top of this building? I hope you liked my pictures. Have a great week friends. ~Earlene~
